We’re proud to announce that Dr. Aubrey J. Grant, Equity Commons Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, has been named one of Meharry Medical College’s 2025 “10 Under 10” award recipients.
Each year, Meharry Medical College celebrates ten alumni who graduated within the past decade and who have made outstanding contributions to healthcare, innovation, and community service. These honorees exemplify the institution’s enduring mission: serving the underserved and leading with purpose.
Dr. Grant’s selection recognizes not only his achievements in medicine—as a board-certified cardiologist—but also his visionary leadership in reimagining how we teach empathy and bias awareness in clinical education.
At Equity Commons, Dr. Grant has helped pioneer the use of Virtual Reality as a tool for immersive empathy training in healthcare. Under his guidance, we’ve partnered with major health systems, academic medical centers, and organizational leaders to bring transformative learning experiences to frontline providers. His work continues to shape the future of medical education—placing empathy, equity, and patient-centered care at the forefront.
Dr. Grant’s recognition by Meharry is a meaningful reflection of the values we champion as a company: excellence, equity, and empathy in action.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Grant on this tremendous honor. We are inspired every day by his leadership and proud to stand alongside him on this journey.
