During her session, “The Power of Virtual Reality to Foster Empathy & Reduce Bias,” Whitney captivated participants with a 2D simulation of one of our immersive Virtual Reality modules. Following the experience, Whitney facilitated a dynamic group discussion, focusing on the application of best practices and how attendees could integrate the insights gained back into their respective communities.

Importance of Empathy in Education

This session underscored the critical importance of educators developing their skills around empathy. In today’s diverse classrooms, an educator’s ability to understand and share the feelings of their students is paramount.
